The Resilience is a new sound of hip hop with an Indigenous flavour. Their style consists of Hellnback's fire flow of timeless lyrics while Lisa finds the beat of the sound, adding a fresh new wave to the scene. With respect to the understanding of the cultural component, The Resilience strives to ensure their ancestors are honoured in music by sharing the narratives and stories of the intergenerational impacts of the Residential School. Their content can be utilized as teaching tools and music for our upcoming generation.
